Alongside my creative & marketing work, I loooove any sort of event planning opportunity I can get my hands on! I’ve done everything from plan film premieres to company launch parties, virtual music festivals, wedding florals, fundraisers, & more!
Below are some of my more note worthy events.
Streamapalooza: Virtual Music Festival
Back in one of the first weeks of quarantine (held March 27th to be exact) in just 4 short days, I collaborated with Simplicitee events to create a virtual quarantine music festival for attendees to enjoy in the convenience of their own homes during the COVID-19 pandemic. Admission to the event required a donation of choice to support Chicago bars and their staff who cannot work during this time. Sponsored by White Claw, 17 artists and 108 attendees came together through music to support the cause raising a total of $2,418.
CCIM: Virtual Music Festival
March 2021, I was hired freelance to plan, book artists, and host a private virtual music festival for CCIM, a commercial real-estate company. This two hour event was held over zoom and featured 6 different artists. In order for it all to come together, I designed the invitations, festival lineup, and coordinated the script and schedule to run the event.
Space Bag Film Premiere
Space Bag (2018) is a film I directed, produced, edited, and premiered on August 9th, 2018. It was a 24hr film challenge I created in order to challenge myself and showcase the end product for a large audience. The premiere event occurred at Harper College. We rented the amphitheater and ended up hosting around 60 people to view the short film.
Fran Flowers Film Premiere
Fran Flowers (2016) is a short film I wrote, directed, produced, and premiered my senior year of high school. To showcase the final product I contacted The Metropolis Theatre in Arlington Heights, IL. Not only were they kind enough to allow me to use their space, I was able to market and host the film’s premiere for an audience of over 200 guests.
